Quickstart
CLI: what works today
The CLI is on npm as rubricary. Today it reads prompts: add and info work for any public prompt and need no account. login and push will publish versions from your terminal; they arrive with API keys.
| Command | Status | Right now |
|---|---|---|
| rubricary add <org>/<name> | available | Downloads a public prompt's files and records the version in a lockfile. |
| rubricary info <org>/<name> | available | Shows the current version, its score and the version history. |
| rubricary login | coming soon | Sign in on the web for now. The CLI will authenticate as the same account. |
| rubricary push | coming soon | Owners and admins publish from the Edit button on a prompt's page. Publishing runs the same lint, then the prompt's evals. |
Both write endpoints already exist at /api/cli/login and /api/cli/push. They return 501 with the message above, not a 404, so a client built against them fails clearly instead of looking broken. See the command reference for the details.
