Connect a client
Rubricary runs an MCP server at https://app.rubricary.com/api/mcp. Once an agent is connected, it can search the catalog, read a prompt and its evals, and score a draft, all from inside the editor. Nothing to install and no key needed for the public catalog.
Claude Code
One command registers it:
claude mcp add --transport http rubricary https://app.rubricary.com/api/mcpAdd --scope project to write it to the repository's .mcp.json so the whole team gets it. /mcp inside a session shows whether it connected.
Cursor
Add it to .cursor/mcp.json in the project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project:
{ "mcpServers": { "rubricary": { "url": "https://app.rubricary.com/api/mcp" } }}VS Code
Add it to .vscode/mcp.json:
{ "servers": { "rubricary": { "type": "http", "url": "https://app.rubricary.com/api/mcp" } }}Any other client
Any client that speaks Streamable HTTP can use it. Most take a config shaped like this:
{ "mcpServers": { "rubricary": { "type": "http", "url": "https://app.rubricary.com/api/mcp" } }}To check the server is reachable before wiring a client, curl https://app.rubricary.com/api/mcp returns its name, version and tool list. The tools themselves are in the tool reference.
