Install and run

The CLI is published to npm as rubricary. It needs Node.js 18.17 or newer and has no dependencies. The quickest way to use it is through npx, which downloads it on first run and needs nothing installed ahead of time:

$npx rubricary add support/refund-request

Install it globally

If you use it often, install it once and drop the npx prefix:

bash
1npm install -g rubricary
2rubricary add support/refund-request

Pin it per project

In a repository where teammates or a CI job run the same commands, add it as a dev dependency so everyone gets the same version from the lockfile:

bash
1npm install --save-dev rubricary
2npx rubricary add support/refund-request

Check it works

npx rubricary --version prints the installed version. Reading a public prompt needs no account, so add is also the simplest end-to-end check: if it writes prompt.md into the current directory, the CLI can reach the API. Every command is listed in the command reference.
